The idea is to go to this site and find the best local events and activities. You submit and vote on the events to get the best ones to the top of the list. You can then filter and sort the event listing by your interests, schedule, and location.

We’ve decided to focus our efforts on getting it going in NYC first, but if you’re not in that area, feel free to use it as a personal event amongst your friends in your area. And sharing the link with all of your friends via email, facebook, myspace won’t bother us at all
