Car Rental or Shuttles

It appears the drive from YVR to Whistler is a bit over 2 hrs.  I am trying to figure out an appropriate method of transport.

Shuttle:  ~60 per person.  Last shuttle from airport to whistler leaves at 11 or 11:30pm.  so anyone interested in shuttle should plan on a flight that arrives plenty before this time.

Car Rental: a car rental for Jan5-Jan12 is ~200 total for a sedan and ~300 for a bigger SUV sort of thing

as for car rental; i’m not even certain how many people are actually going on the trip.  But assuming there are about 8 of us and assuming we all have big bulky snowboard bags( I know I do ), and possibly one other piece of luggage, we’re probably looking at needing at least 2 car rentals.  If that is the case, then I suggest all of us getting in touch to coordinate groups flying together ( or at least arriving within same hour windows ) and then driving together to the sick-ass mountain.

so its time to buy flights…

Andrews Cheery Response…

Hello All,

Here is the email with the primary plans for Whistler. Please read the section that Giacomelli wrote as he is a cash mongering self made 9.71 jiggawatt millionaire. Evidence as follows: www.techcrunch.com/2007/04/29/panama-not-enough-to-battle-google-yahoo-acquires-rightmedia/

So, to conclude, it will be a pleasure riding with you all and I look forward to our expedition to a place where the women are big, tough, and elusive. I love it.

Yours,

Andrew ‘Bunyan’ (not bunion) Sholl
